This educational training is designed to educate parents and caregivers on the affects of separation/divorce on children, what to expect, and the tools for co-parenting.
Co-Parenting classes are court required for parties involved with Custody, Visitation, and Support Orders in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations courts in the Commonwealth. All participants in these types of classes are required to attend a co-parenting class. These classes are different from parenting classes in its goals. While parenting classes are focused mainly on the caregiver and the child; co-parenting classes are focused on the needs of the children as it pertains to the effects of separation. At the completion of each class, each participant receives a certificate. The certifications are good for 12-months.
